About
Born in the mineral-rich Katanga province of the DRC, Wilson Kimpanga Ngioba pursued education
and opportunity across borders. After managing a mining company in his home country, he
graduated in financial and cost management before moving to South Africa in 2008.
In Cape Town, Wilson tackled English language learning and earned a place at Cape Peninsula
University of Technology to study accounting. While graduating with a Bachelor's in Cost
Management and Accounting in 2017, his interests extend beyond numbers. An independent
researcher and analyst, Wilson is drawn to finance, economics, politics, and human rights
activism.
Fuelled by a lifelong love of reading, writing, teaching, and karate (under the tutelage of
Coach Emmanuel Jordan), Wilson aspires to pursue a Master's in Public Management. His journey,
marked by perseverance and diverse interests, reflects a commitment to growth and making a
positive impact.
